The "Friends" are presented with many projects that they could participate in or which are in need of someone to
initate and to take the lead role. Unfortunately, they cannot do them all. Funds are a major issue but so is the
shortage of leading role volunteers.

Our organization is built on the premise that we will do what we can with the volunteers we have, we do not pay
any salaries, but we will refund approved expenditures.

The Friends purchase and maintain recycle bins within the Park to raise funds for their general operations.

Here are some of the Projects that are in our near future:

- Recreation Hall renovation or replacement
- More recycle bins
- A nature trail accessible by wheel chairs
- A tennis backboard
